EA's Project Honor charity benefits fallen Special Ops members

Electronic Arts has announced its Project Honor intiative, benefiting the families of fallen members of the Special Operations Community. The program, in tandem with EA's launch of Medal of Honor Warfighter, will see a number of combat gear manufacturers donating to theNavy SEAL Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The manufacturers, including Kaenon, London Bridge Trading, Magpul, SureFire, Mechanix Wear, will also see their products featured in the game, with some creating exclusive Medal of Honor-themed merchandise. 100 percent of the proceeds of those merchandise sales will go to the the Navy SEAL Foundation, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and other charities.

Medal of Honor Warfighter developer Danger Close Games will also be releasing a special edition of the game for active-duty military personnel only. Medal of Honor Warfighter Military Edition will be sold exclusively through online military retail store GovX. It will include all the content from the Limited Edition and additional in-game unlocks, like the Project Honor camoflage pattern.
