Playdead and Q-Games PSN's biggest indie sellers

Limbo and PixelJunk Shooter 2 top US PlayStation Store charts

Sony Computer Entertainment America has released a list of the PlayStation Network Store's biggest indie sellers for 2011, with games from Playdead and Q-Games topping the list.

Limbo is the top selling self published indie title, followed by Castle Crashers from The Behemoth and TestYourself Psychology from Creat Studios.

In the chart for SCEA published titles PixelJunk Shooter 2 came top, with Titan Studios' Fat Princess in second and Flower by thatgamecompany in third.

SCEA also released a chart for those games that had received development support from the PlayStation manufacturer.

"For some newer, smaller teams who have creative and innovative ideas, SCEA also has the Pub Fund, which provides additional development budget for those teams that might not otherwise have the footing to make their game a reality."

"We've committed $20 million over the next three years to the Pub Fund because we believe this visionary and unique development mindset will ultimately advance and evolve PSN games as an art form."

Hoard, from Big Sandwich Games, was the biggest seller in this category.
