Square Enix opening Android marketplace

Will feature Chaos Ring, Final Fantasy and Crystal Defenders

Japanese developer Square Enix will launch its own Android app store, called The Square Enix Market, on December 1.

According to Andriasang, the games available will include Dragon Quest Monsters Most Wanted!, Chaos Ring, Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger and Itadaki Street.

Japanese mobile users on the KDDI network will get exclusively access to the store on launch, with DoCoMo and Softbank expected to follow soon after.

Earlier this month Square Enix  recorded a six month profit of ¥3.7 billion.
