UK trade body TIGA has been awarded two prizes by the Chartered Management Institute, walking away with the trophy for 'Outstanding Organisation' whilst CEO Dr Richard Wilson was given the accolade of 'Outstanding Leader'.

The Leadership and Management Awards ceremony took place in London last night, with 12 awards going to various UK organisations in recognition of achievement and surpassing performance.

"I'm exceptionally proud of my team - Lorna Evans, Vanessa Joyce, Suzi Stephenson and Nisha Valand - and what we have achieved at TIGA," said Wilson in his acceptance speech.

"It has been a challenging but exciting time for us and everyone has worked incredibly effectively to get the organisation into the position of strength and influence that it is in now. It is a huge honour to have my role recognised but especially for TIGA to be named Outstanding Organisation."
