Retailer adds Alistair Hunter and Emma Tang to marketing force

The high street entertainment retailer HMV has added two new team members to its games department.

Alistair Hunter becomes a buyer, focusing on Nintendo products. Hunter had previously spent three years as a marketing planner for the company. Laura Yates, formerly a marketing assistant, will take over the role.

Emma Tang also joins HMV as games merchandise planner.

Last month HMV announced a retail sales fall of 21.8 per cent, but HMV Group plc's chief executive, Simon Fox, said he was still "optimistic" for the future.
