iPhone 4S leaked on Apple Japan website
Handset in Japanese stores October 14, according to listing
A new iPhone, the long-rumoured 4S has apparently been leaked by the company's Japanese website, which lists the street date for the handset as 14 October, 2011.
The date appears on store-specific sites for Apple's Japanese site, but doesn't list any hardware specifications.
The 4S has been rumoured to be a slightly improved version of the iPhone 4 rather than a major leap technologically.
Apple's official conference, which is also thought to perhaps be host to the launch of the iPhone 5 and iOS 5 as well as the 4S, starts in Cupertino at 6pm UK time. GamesIndustry.biz will be reporting events from the conference as they happen.
