Mobile developer Gamerizon nets $5m investment

Plans to employ 100 new staff over 24 months

Canadian mobile games developer Gamerizon has secured CAD$5 million from a syndicate led by Vanedge Capital and iNovia Capital.

The company responsible for the Chop Chop franchise - which has been downloaded 15 million times - now plans to add 100 staff over the next 24 months.

"We're extremely proud to be associated with such quality investment firms as Vanedge and iNovia as we scale up operations and leverage our Chop Chop franchise over numerous social and mobile platforms including Facebook, iOS, Android and Windows Mobile," commented Alex Sakiz, CEO of Gamerizon.
