GDC Online awards finalists announced

Sega's Spiral Knights leads the nominations, Ravenwood Fair, Frontierville and Rift follow

The organisers of GDC Online 11 have announced the finalists for the Game Developers Choice Online Awards.

GDC Online 11 takes place in Austin, Texas from October 10 to 13, with the awards ceremony on the evening of October 12.

The finalists were chosen from a larger group by a committee of 400 industry professionals. Only online games that launched in North America during the last 12 months were eligible.

Three Rings Design's Spiral Knights has the most nominations, appearing in four different categories. It is followed by 6waves Lolapps' Ravenwood Fair, Zynga's Frontierville and Trion Worlds' Rift with three nominations each.
