Electronic Arts will show Mass Effect 3 and Need for Speed: The Run at this year's Eurogamer Expo in September.

The AAA titles join Battlefield 3, Star Wars: The Old Republic and FIFA 12 at the event.

"We're thrilled that EA has expanded its showcase to include Mass Effect 3 and Need for Speed: The Run, two of the biggest games due out in the next 12 months," said Rupert Loman, managing director of Eurogamer. "Together with the likes of Battlefield 3 they represent an incredibly strong line up at the Eurogamer Expo."

Konami, Namco Bandai and id Software will also be supporting the event, and Sega will present the Eurogamer Expo Indie Arcade.

The Eurogamer Expo is predicted to attract around 30,000 attendees to London's Earls Court between September 22 - 25 and is the only expo of its size in the UK. GamesIndustry.biz will also be holding a career fair at the show.

Further information can be found at the official website.

At the risk of sounding like a company stooge, I'm actually pretty stoked about the line up we have this year ;-)

Having been involved to a greater or lesser degree on most of these titles I can safely say that I'll be taking home all of them and trying to find time to play them all...

Stephen its a hell of a lineup and with the advance feedback on BF3 along with the player base being ready for more Mass Effect its a bonus to have a new NFS and Fifa is well Fifa its not going to set any new standards for gaming unless there has been some new rules for the game I am not aware off :-)

Its good to be excited by the products of your employer, it you where not I would actually wounder why.

EA always seem to have a good line up when attending the Expo. I will be there lined up for BF3 and Mass Effect 3. I'm also looking forward to Bethesda's showing. What I find strange is that as far as I can remember from past Expo's Activision has never been present (correct me if I'm wrong). Strange really since this is fast becoming the UK's biggest public gaming Expo and Activision is such a powerhouse of a publisher. It could be because their busy doing 'their own thing' with CoDCon (what a double barrelled name).

Activision were present in 2008 with CoD: World at War! But yes, they haven't been for the last two years. It's a shame but actually not the end of the world - it gives more space and attention to other games, big and small. This year in particular there's a lot of interest in Battlefield so it'll be great to see that have such a big presence... and BTW we've announced maybe 20% of what's going to be at the show, so expect some more really cool announcements [including a few surprises!] as we go along :)

I think the 2008 one was the only Eurogamer Expo I havent attended so would explain the black hole circling my memory of the shows to date. I can see the lines in my minds eye right now for BF3 but I know it will be well worth the wait. I can't wait to see the upcoming announcements! :)

Along with Metal Gear, Zelda and Mega Man(Old School, X, Zero, ZX), Mass effect has become one of my life time favorite games. I already reserved my limited edition bundle copy of Mass Effect 3 and Im on my fourth play through of mass Effect 2. Its a game that has a story and style of gameplay that I enjoy playing through. Its not a game I just play to find out what will happen next, but a game I love to play through for the expirience it offers.

So im defenitly looking foward to this event.
