Jagex is the latest studio to head to Brighton in the hope of recruiting employees affected by the layoffs at Disney's Black Rock Studio.

The independent UK developer is hosting informal meetings at Revolution in Brighton tomorrow, May 12, between 12 and 6pm.

Vice president of technologies Nick Thompson, art director Pascal Blanche, head of HR Laura Hare and recruitment manager Francesco Genovese will be in attendance and no appointments are necessary.

"It is really sad to see another UK developer making redundancies; especially with the number of highly talented people here in the UK," said Genovese.

"It is this home-grown talent that has allowed us to become one of the world's largest independent indie developers, and we would love the chance discuss our current opportunities with those affected by the Black Rock redundancies."
