Lou Castle moves to Zynga

Westwood, InstantAction veteran made VP of Studios at FarmVille firm

Westwood Studios co-founder Louis Castle has joined social network game titan Zynga.

Castle had recently been CEO of GarageGames / InstantAction, but upon its sudden collapse last November went on to become senior advisor at social media firm PremiumFanPage.

That move proved short-lived, with IndustryGamers revealing that Castle has now been hired as the new VP of Studios at Zynga.

Zynga has made a number of big-name developer hires in recent years, with former Firaxis man Brian Reynolds, EA LA's Mike Verdu and Ensemble Studios co-founder Bruce Shelley all now on its books.
