Big names confirmed for GamesCom 2011

EA, Nintendo, 2K, Valve, Ubisoft amongst firms at Cologne show

The first list of game firms appearing at this year's GamesCom in Cologne have been revealed.

Appearing at the August 17 - 21 show are the likes of EA, Nintendo, Ubisoft, 2K and Valve. A number of major names – such as Activision and Square - are not yet listed, while SEGA and Capcom, no-shows in 2010, are yet to appear.

The full list of confirmed publishers so far, as revealed by GoNintendo, is as follows:

Someone should start making a show at the end of October, it`s a less busy period of time for the industry and still before Christmas. :)

I love GamesCom and enjoyed watching the SC2 tournanments last year. Looking forward to what 2011/2012 can offer.

This is gonna be great. At least I hope it will be. It will be a very busy day we booked and I hope we can find some new personal contacts and of course the newest gaming experience!

@Werner don't forget the managers conference! They always book around october or september every year (and of course the publishers are there, too).
