Ubisoft inks distribution deal with Trion Worlds
French publisher carrying MMO Rift in selected European territories
Ubisoft will be distributing boxed retail copies of Trion Worlds' MMO Rift in certain European territories when it launches in 2011.
The MMO is the first game from Trion Worlds and will be carried by Ubisoft in France, Benelux, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordic countries.
"To join forces with an industry leader such as Ubisoft on our first title further demonstrates the potential Rift has to be a game-changer in the online gaming space," said Trion Worlds CEO Lars Buttler.
"We are thrilled to be working with Ubisoft, one of world's leading publishers, as we reaffirm our commitment to deliver quality products to gamers around the world."
