Bethesda chooses Benelux for fifth international office

Eindhoven-based Menno Eijck to oversee operations in Belgium and Luxembourg and the Netherlands

Zenimax Media-owned publisher Bethesda is expanding further into Europe by opening an office in Eindhoven, intended to oversee its business in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

The office is the fifth international centre of operations in addition to London and Tokyo, as well as the Paris and Frankfurt offices which the company opened earlier this year. The company's home office is in Rockville, Maryland USA.

Heading up the new office will be territory general manager Menno Eijck who previously worked in the same position for Namco Bandai Partners Benelux.

Menno's appointment was greeted with a positive reaction by Sean Brennan, managing director of Bethesda Softwerks Europe.

"This is another exciting step for Bethesda Softworks. The opening of the Benelux office comes as we look to the launch of our terrific 2011 AAA line-up of games, including Hunted: The Demon's Forge, Brink and RAGE," said Brennan.

"Menno brings with him a wealth of experience which will benefit us greatly. We are very happy to welcome him into the ZeniMax family".
