Konami profits leap 245%

Profits at Metal Gear publisher Konami leapt a massive 244.7 per cent for the quarter ended June 30, from ¥367 million ($4.2m / £2.6m) to ¥1.26 billion ($14.6m / £9.2m), while revenues were down 5 per cent, from ¥55.9 billion ($651m / £410.7m) to ¥53.1 billion ($618.4m / £390.2m).
