2008 International eSports Conference

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

International eSports Conference

Cologne, 27. – 28. May 2008

As from now on, the registration for the “International eSports Conference 2008” (ESCONF), which is going to take place on the 27th and 28th May at Electronic Arts in Cologne, is open. Interested participants are asked to follow the registration process on the official website of the ESCONF ( www.esconf.com/en/register.html).

Early bookers will take advantage of the „Early Bird“ offering: The ESCONF offers a rebate of 10 percent on the actual entry fee of 99 Euro. The offering ends one week ahead of the event. Members of the German eSports Association (Deutscher eSport-Bund) will be granted a further rebate of 10 Euro.

„After the previously strong and positive resonance to this year’s conference, we are pleased to open the registration for the participants. With this year’s program and the extension of the conference with the addition of eSports-Connection, the participants are offered a great possibility to inform themselves about eSports and exchange thoughts. We are looking forward to giving the visitors a warm welcome and will do our very best to make their stay as pleasant and informative as possible”, says Frank Sliwka, executive officer of Global Games Media, with pleasant anticipation on the conference and its participants.

All interested participants are now provided with information on accommodation opportunities during the ESCONF. The list of hotels is to be found on the item “Venue” in the menu bar of the official website ( http://www.esconf.com/en/anreise.html).
