2008 International eSports Conference

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

Berlin, 07.05.2008. This year’s “International eSports Conference“ (ESCONF) is increasingly becoming an international communication platform and a venue for the European eSports branch. Numerous reporters and participants from European countries, such as Belgium, Germany, Greece or Denmark, have already registered for the ESCONF. “We are pleased of the vast international resonance; that’s why we have decided to run the entire conference in English”, as the project manager of the ESCONF, Carsten Kohlenbeck, said.

The national eSport associations a.o. from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Austria and South-Korea are going to be represented at the ESCONF by official representatives in order to discuss and evaluate the potential development of global eSports in a final panel discussion. Given this, the conference will feature the different national eSport associations appearing in public together for the very first time.

Registration for the ESCONF 2008 is open on www.esconf.com.
