12th Annual Webby Awards

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

The 12th Annual Webby Awards, the leading international honors for the Web and mobile Web, has nominated Cellufun for the Best Mobile Gaming Site of 2008. Cellufun is the leading multiplayer mobile gaming community, which also recently won the award for Best Mobile Game at the Global Mobile Awards at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Cellufun's mobile game community, which has grown 500% in the last year to five million unique visitors and over 60 million monthly pageviews, includes award-winning, community-engaging games, such as Call of the Pharaoh, a pyramid scheme-based game that requires the cooperation and assistance of other players to win, and The Mobile Ring, a political boxing game which pits Barack Obama v. Hillary Clinton and has attracted over two million mobile boxing matches since launch. Cellufun's mobile gaming community has a social networking twist, offering games that are designed for multiple players or completing the gaming experience together.

"We are honored to be selected as one of the finalists for the Webby Awards," said Steve Dacek, COO and co-founder of Cellufun. "This recognition validates the mobile audience's desire for free, quality, creative mobile games with a social aspect."

Hailed as the "Oscars of the Internet" by the New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including Websites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile Websites. The Webby Awards is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-person judging academy whose members include Internet co-inventor Vinton Cerf, R/GA's Chief Bob Greenberg, "Simpson's" creator Matt Groening, Arianna Huffington and Harvey Weinstein.

"The Webby Awards honors the outstanding Websites that are setting the standards for the Internet," said David-Michel Davies, executive director of The Webby Awards. "Cellufun's Webby Award nomination is a testament to the skill, ingenuity and vision of its creators."

From now through May 1st, online fans around the world can cast their own votes for Cellufun in The Webby People's Voice Awards, presented by Nokia, at http://pv.webbyawards.com <http://pv.webbyawards.com> .

The 12th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 10,000 entries from over 60 countries and all 50 states. Winners will be announced on May 6, 2008 and honored at a star-studded gala in New York City on June 10th.
